The City of Juarez has become infamous for the femicide of hundreds of women. In “The Ghosts of Lote Bravo”, the body of Juanda’s daughter, Raquel, is found. While praying to La Santa Muerte, Juanda is shown other-wordly visions of Raquel’s life and death, challenging her own deeply-held beliefs.
