“Generosity” is one of several found poems I composed and translated from Rafael Guizado’s essays on World War II. The original essays are accessible in the Museartes exhibition: “Rafael Guizado”.
I wrote the poems for The Asylum Theatre‘s production ASYLUM: Reflections on Refuge in response to the war in Ukraine. The show was created in partnership with Winchester Dondero Cultural Center, sponsored by Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom. It featured the work of numerous Las Vegas artists, and included a live streamed performance from Ukraine’s ProEnglish Theatre.
